The New Man in My Life

I’ve fallen for another man. Todd knows, and mostly accepts it. Meet Declan! He was my biggest project of last year, born in December, three weeks early, at a respectable six pounds, ten ounces. And ohmygosh, am I ever in love. He doesn’t sleep worth a darn unless he’s being held, but I’m soaking it [...]

Yes, it’s true….

In my most recent post, I promised to be better about blogging. That was over one year ago. Amid some security concerns, I took a break. My short break turned into a long one, and I left my [four] loyal readers without new posts for a whole year! The good news (maybe that was the [...]

Did I say I was going to be good about updating my blog in the new year? I will try. Really. The biggest news in January is that both girls finally had haircuts! It was AJ’s first and only Cara’s second. A big thanks to Melissa for making them so be-yoo-tiful! (I had my hair [...]

Funny Men

In other non-kid, non-Todd news (what? I do have a life?), I had the pleasure of seeing two really cool shows within the last couple of weeks. In fact, so cool that I would classify both as once-in-a-lifetime kind of opportunities to see my personal icons! First up: Steve Martin. He is on tour promoting [...]

…that our second bus trip to Disneyland went off without a hitch. I still have to update about C’s birthday, our housewarming party, etc., but Lisa and I saw John Cleese tonight, I’m up too late, and I neeeeeeed to go to bed.

The Bus Trip From Hell, Part 2

It’s been another “Why do I bother?” day. I have already recounted our first attempt at SoCal public transportation in a previous post, and I’m sorry to say that our second outing on a public bus was even worse. The girls and I took an OCTA bus to Disneyland today. The trip there was actually [...]
