The next day, Saturday, was the party to end all parties. We were blessed to have family and friends from all over SoCal join us for an open house to celebrate birthdays and our housewarming. It was really heartwarming to have so many friends make the trek to our new home!

We had a small party for Cara last night with family (the big one, a co-party with her friend Aurelia, is this weekend).
The birthday girl’s only request was that her cake have sprinkles, so at the decorating stage she doused the cream cheese frosting liberally with her sprinkles. She had a blast.
